Grain sorting

Sorting is an important step in the processing of grain. In this process step the product that has been cleaned in the classic manner is separated into fractions that are as homogeneous as possible to optimally prepare the product for further processing in husking machines.

Rotating sorting specialist

Classification in five different fractions (4 screen fractions plus overflow), is enabled through use of up to four screens in the sorting cylinder. Thus homogeneous product batches can be obtained for effective further processing.

product family: Grain sorting

The sorting drum of the machine, hooked onto a robust steel frame, enables a high degree of product-contacting screen surface thanks to its large diameter. The screens rest on solid holder rings and are cleaned by rotating hard wood disks that run synchronously with the rotation of the screen drum.

In addition the screens can be quickly inspected and replaced through large hatches on the machine housing.
There is a separate discharge for each of the four screen fractions. Thus the individual fractions can run either brought together or separated - as needed.
