Optimal flaking preparer

In the flaking process the grain is thermally treated through the steamer to stabilize the adipolytic enzymes and the deformability of the grain prior to flaking.

The entire tempering zone, including steamer and preliminary container, are completely manufactured of stainless steel. During the steam process, steam is input directly and uniformly into the product via a hollow shaft. When warming to approximately 100°C the water in the downstream tempering tank, (which is completely insulated) is cooked into the product.

Inhibition of starch gelatinization and deactivation of the adipolytic enzymes occur in this process. Now the product can be optimally further processed into stable and abrasion resistant flakes.
