Grain sorting

Sorting is an important step in the processing of grain. In this process step the product that has been cleaned in the classic manner is separated into fractions that are as homogeneous as possible to optimally prepare the product for further processing in husking machines.

Effective quality manager

The table separator is outstandingly suited for gleaning after the husking process. It fractionates the cereal into the husked main fraction and the remaining unhusked grains to achieve a perfect end result.

product family: Grain sorting

The feeder trough takes up the grain to be sorted and distributes it uniformly on the chambers of the machine. Through uniform lift movements, here the grains are separated according to their respective specific weight. The inclination and the speed of the table separator can be varied for optimal adjustment to the respective product.
The table separator achieves the best results when sorting grain that is particularly homogeneous. Consequently placement of a screen or indent cylinder upstream of the table separator is recommended.
