Husiking grain

The husks can be separated from the cereal kernel with the aid of different husking processes. As a rule, selection of the suitable grain husking machine is based on whether a naked grain (e.g. barley) or a husk cereal (e.g. oats) will be processed.

Hulling multi with aspiration

Through layered removal of the surface husk the vertical hulling machine ensures controlled husking of the product.

Vertical hulling machine
VSM 250

product family: Husking grain

In the robust housing of the vertical hulling machine there is a hollow shaft with six grinding stones and a screen jacket. To cool the product during the work process, aspiration air is routed into the machine body through the hollow shaft.

When extracting the air into the central aspiration system, husks and dust particles are suctioned out of the machine through the screen jacket.
The required, product-specific degree of grinding can be adjusted via a weight-loaded flap on the discharge.
